Myk Derill est un jeune dj/producteur allemand déjà bien immergé sur la scène techno berlinoise. Activiste depuis une dizaine d’année, il est boss du label Glare records et joue régulièrement dans différents clubs et soirées privées à Berlin. Depuis le début, Myk Derill est passionné par le son techno de Detroit, et plus particulièrement par son versant dub. Ses inspirations : Mike Dehnert, Jeff Mills ou encore Ben Klock.

Il commence à mixer en 1995, et c’est 9 ans plus tard, ayant acquis une certaine maturité, qu’il débute la production. En 2008, il sort son premier e.p « Meileinweit » sur 2 sides records, qui fut. un reel succes. Depuis, il enchaine les sorties sur différents labels : Glare Rec, M Rec Digital …

« Button ep » sortira sur Spagh records début Juillet 2010 : un 4 titres purement techno aux rythmiques abyssales, aux atmosphères minimalistes, hypnotiques et définitivement dub, en guest : un excellent remix du producteur mexicain Adrian Garzia …

Myk Derill is a young dj/ producer from Berlin , already well imersed in the german techno scene. As a big techno activist, he is the label owner of Glare records and reglarly plays in several club& private parties in Berlin. From the beginning , Myk Derill has developped a passion for the Detroit techno sound paricularly for the dub style of this sound. His inspiring influences : Mike Dehnert, Jeff Mills or even Ben Clocks.

He started mixing in 1995, and nine years later, began production. In 2008, he released his first ep « Meileinweit » on 2 sides records, wich was a real success. Since then, he has worked with national and international artists as a remixer and producer ans has also released many ep’s on several labels : Glare Rec, M Rec Digital.

His first ep on Spagh records “Button ep” will be out in the early July : four purely techno tracks with unfathomed rhythms that utilise dub, hypnotic & minimalistic atmospheres. In addition to this, we’ve included an exceptional remix by the mexican producer Adrian Garzia.
